WASWD Member Districts enjoy quick access to legal and policy research as well as dependable, professional advice about a wide range of local government issues. Services include (but are not limited to) a help desk for inquiries and research about municipal law, budgets, finance, public administration, planning, growth management, public works, utilities and local government policies. There is also a vast store of news, publications, sample documents and reference material on the MRSC website at MRSC.org.
MRSC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to proactively supporting the success of local governments state-wide by providing collaborative consultation and immediate access to a vast research and knowledge base. The below services are offered to local government officials and staff in Washington State at no direct cost.
At MRSC.org, you can explore a wide variety of local government issues, obtain practical guidance through online publications (e.g., handbooks, reports), easily find information on court decisions and state statutes, and access an extensive collection of local government reference and example documents to see what others are doing and how they’re doing it.
