Executive Director
The Water & Sewer Risk Management Pool (WSRMP) in Bellevue, WA, is seeking an Executive Director for this public-entity, insurance pool established in 1987 by Washington State water and sewer special purpose districts. WSRMP is located in Bellevue, a thriving and cosmopolitan city of 155,000 located along the shores of Lake Washington fifteen minutes east of Seattle.
THE WATER & SEWER RISK MANAGEMENT POOL
The Water & Sewer Risk Management Pool was founded to create an insurance organization that would ensure access to the most comprehensive protection, laser-focused risk management programs, and responsive customer service. WSRMP is owned and controlled by the 77 member districts (out of 180 throughout the state of Washington), and all profits generated are used for the benefit of the membership. WSRMP's Executive Committee is comprised of 7 representatives that are General Managers or Commissioners from its member districts who provide regular oversight, guidance, and expertise. The Executive Director manages a 2024-2025 budget of $7.4 million and a staff of 3 FTEs.
THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Working under the direction of the Executive Committee, the Executive Director provides strategic, financial, and administrative oversight of insurance pool operations for water and wastewater special purpose district members throughout Washington. The success of the pool rests on the decision-making abilities of the Executive Director and the staff.
