Water/Wastewater Technician I/II
installing, repairing and maintaining the District's water and sewer systems, including but not limited to water reservoirs, pump stations, water and sewer mains, water services, sewer structures, lift stations, sewer laterals and SCADA system. Meter reading and maintenance may also be assigned as needed. This position requires working in all weather conditions and the ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including digging, climbing in and out of trenches and manholes, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. |

Maintenance Tech I position salary range is $33.95 - $44.10/hr. DOE. Candidate must have a valid WA State Driver’s License, basic math skills, familiarity with computers, and the ability to use power and hand tools.
Maintenance Tech II position salary range is $38.65 - $50.20/hr. DOE. Candidate must have a valid WA State Driver’s License, basic math skills, familiarity with computers, knowledge of construction tools and equipment (backhoe, dump truck etc.) and the ability to use power and hand tools. Requires 5 years related experience in the water/sewer utility industry or any combination of education (related to the job) and experience to equal 5 years’ experience. Requires high school diploma or high school GED.
