Utility Service Worker II
Hourly Range for 2025: $41.30 - $52.71
Monthly Range for 2025: $7,158.86 - $9,136.72

Experience/Education:
Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience: At least five years of experience as a water sewer service worker in a water or sewer district or utility maintenance and installation operations in the construction industry or equivalent.
Education: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
Licenses and Certifications:
Possesses and maintains:
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License with a driving record acceptable to the District and its Insurance carrier
- Commercial Driver’s License Class A, with Air brakes. (CDL A)
- Water Distribution Manager 1 from the State of Washington Department of Health
- Cross Connection Specialist Certification
- FEMA – IS-700.b Introduction to the National Incident Management System; IS-100.c Introduction to Incident Command System
Possesses or ability to acquire and maintain:
- Asbestos/Cement Pipe Certification, within six months.
- First Aid / CPR card, within six months.
- Washington State Traffic Control Certification, within six months.
- FEMA –IS-200.c Basic Incident Command System for initial Response; IS-2200 Basic Emergency Operations Center Functions, within two years.
