Accounting Specialist -Accounting Office Assistant
West Sound Utility District, located in Port Orchard, WA, is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Accounting/Office Assistant or Accounting Specialist I, depending on the candidate's level of experience, as outlined in the respective job descriptions. The Accounting/Office Assistant position is an entry-level role, while the Accounting Assistant I requires a higher degree of experience. Both positions are responsible for providing administrative support, which includes customer service, accounting assistance, processing and/or reviewing accounts payable, utility billing, courier duties, general clerical tasks, journal entries, report generation, and special projects, among other related duties. The position is a full-time, non-union position.
