Temporary Seasonal Worker
About the Position
Highline Water District (HWD) is currently seeking two (2) Temporary Seasonal Maintenance Workers to join our team. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be assigned to the Operations Department and report to the Operations and Field Supervisors. This is a temporary position and will last no more than 100 calendar days between June and September.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on fire hydrants, painting, office maintenance, grounds maintenance, vehicle maintenance, courier duties, and other duties as assigned. This position is considered an entry-level position, and an ideal candidate will have knowledge or experience in cleaning, operating grounds equipment (weed eater, pressure washer, etc.), working outdoors, and experience using hand and power tools.
